The question that I am asked most often is how did I come up with the name, Bare Minimum. Here is the story. After graduating from Elon College in 1992 I spent 3 years in Myrtle Beach, SC. In 1995 I decided to move back to my home town of Durham, NC. That year I started my own entertainment service to offer the triangle area male and female entertainers to deliver telegrams in costume. I chose the name Bare Minimum. I picked a phone number that would be easy to remember. (919) 383-SEXY.
In 1997 I realized that most of my clients also needed limousine service. That year I purchased my first limousine. As business grew I added 2 more limousines in 1998. A mini-van for airport service was add in 1999. In 2004 came the introduction of SUV limousines. In 2005 we stopped offering entertainment completely to focus entirely on transportation. Our service has changed through the years yet the name and the phone number have remained the same.
